GSJ Campus Support Groups and peer resources
The Fem Collective
This is a cozy space for women and fem-identified individuals to foster a sense of community, share experiences, and uplift one another through meaningful conversations. entered on personal growth, mutual support, and collaboration, this space offers opportunities to connect and create together. Enjoy game nights, guest speakers, open mic nights, and arts and crafts sessions—all in a cozy environment with plenty of food and snacks provided.
5:30 – 7:30 PM – Social Justice & Equity Center (Stevenson Union 308 – 3rd floor)
During the 2024 Winter Term, this program will be offered bi-weekly on Wednesdays: Jan. 8th, Jan. 22nd, Feb. 5th, Feb. 19th, Mar 5th
Pride Haven – LGBTQIA+ Affinity Space
This is a vibrant and supportive affinity group dedicated to creating a safe, empowering, and joyful space for queer and trans individuals. Our goal is to foster a strong sense of community and solidarity by sharing experiences, building meaningful connections, and uplifting one another through thoughtful conversations.
At Pride Haven, we are committed to liberation, celebration, and mutual support around our identities. We offer resources such as gender-affirming products, mentorship, engaging activities, drag workshops, and festive game nights—all designed to bring connection, joy, and empowerment to our community.

During the 2024 Winter Term, this program will be offered bi-weekly on Tuesdays: Jan 21st, Feb 4th, Feb 18th, Feb 25th, March 11th
Queer and Trans Talks
This is a space for queer, trans, and questioning students to come together for connection, support, and healing with others who share similar lived experiences. It’s a place to reflect, share openly, and heal collectively. Each session will center around a unique theme—resilience, liberation, and empowerment—and will feature insights from Mason Healy-Patterson, an integrated behavioral health clinician with La Clinica. Mason will provide valuable guidance on coping strategies for anxiety and stress, as well as techniques for cultivating mindfulness in your daily life.
This space is designed to promote reflection, build supportive networks, and celebrate the joys and freedom that come with living authentically as ourselves. Each session will also feature giveaways designed to support self-care and wellness.
